What You’ll Do

Provides direct professional medical care to patients. Assesses needs, ensures proper follow up care, and supports nursing team in completion of tasks.

Certified Nursing Assistant duties include but are not limited:

• Assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a medical provider.


• Assessing needs of patients, checking vital signs, performing procedures as appropriate and ensuring proper follow-up care.


• Participating in frequent interaction with patients regarding all levels of concerns and questions.


• Keeping up-to-date on public health policies and procedures.


• Performing as a positive member of a nursing team.


• Executing duties with a willingness to help others who are in need.


• Performing other duties as required or assigned.


• Observing and practicing the policies and procedures of Grand River Hospital District.

Who We’re Looking For

• Licensed in the state of Colorado as a Certified Nurse Aide.


• Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.


• Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in patient care preferred.

• Pay Range: $19.50 - $30.19/hour (based on experience)


• Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

• PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
