Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is partnering with Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) to offer a fully sponsored "earn while you learn" Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training program, funded through a special grant. This means qualified trainees can attend at no cost and begin a rewarding healthcare career with our full support!

During this time, you will learn about direct and indirect care including the role and functions of a Nurse Assistant, how to best care for our residents, restorative care, as well as how to care for the mental health and social needs of our residents.

About The Class:

• You must be 18 years old or turning 18 years old prior to the end of class
• This class is scheduled for 10/20/2025-11/19/2025
  • Successful completion of the Nurse Aide program requires you attend the entire 120-hour program
  • 100% attendance is required or you will be dismissed from the program
• This class will be held in-person at the HACC Lancaster campus with clinicals taking place at Homestead Village
• Successful completion of this course prepares you to take the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Competency Exam to enroll in the Nurse Aide Registry for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Prior to the beginning of class, you will be brought on as a Hospitality Aide
  • After class, while you prepare for your state exam, you will be brought on as a Graduated Nurse Assistant (GNA) until you receive your license and become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)​​​​
