Rapid City Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our GI department. This position providing specialty care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices. Offers four-day work week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
CNP REQUIREMENTS: BSN, MSN preferred. Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program. Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. Current state RN license and NP license. Current CPR certification.
PA REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS, MS preferred. Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program. Minimum of one year experience as physician assistant, preferably in clinic setting. Current state PA license, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current CPR certification.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stress in emergency situations and irregular hours. Combination of exam rooms and medical offices. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
