TRANSPORTATION AIDE POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled CNA Transportation Aide to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The Transportation Aide will interact directly with mobility-impaired individuals by accommodating wheelchairs and walkers providing safe non-emergency transport of passengers for medical appointments and treatments. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

TRANSPORTATION AIDE QUALIFICATIONS

TRANSPORTATION AIDE EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or relevant qualification.

• Possession of a current valid Texas driver’s license or regular means of transportation to and from work
• Must be at least 25 years of age and have an acceptable driving record as verified by the state Department of Motor Vehicles
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred
• Previous experience providing services to persons with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities preferred
•  Must be a CNA

TRANSPORTATION AIDE CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current valid Texas driver's license.

Current CNA license
