Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including outpatient facilities, hospitals, and home community care. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide catheter care and assist with medication administration as directed by nursing staff.
• Support patients in rehabilitation exercises and mobility assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNA in acute care hospital or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Basic knowledge of catheter care and medication administration procedures.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program is required.
