Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Memory Care

Strawberry Point Lutheran Home Community is seeking a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to become part of our Memory Care Manor. This specialized 16-resident neighborhood provides a secure, supportive setting for individuals living with dementia and other memory-related conditions.

As a CNA, you'll provide hands-on assistance and personal care while helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, independence, and a meaningful daily routine. You'll work alongside our care team while also having opportunities to build genuine relationships with the residents you serve.

Position Details

• Pay: $18.00–$19.50 per hour

• Status: Full-time

• Schedule: 10:00 AM–10:00 PM

• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend

• Holiday coverage: Rotating holidays

What You'll Bring

Applicants should have:

• A current Iowa CNA certification

• A compassionate, patient approach to working with older adults

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Good attention to individual resident needs

• The ability to work effectively both independently and with other members of the care team

• Previous experience in memory care or skilled nursing is preferred

Your Role in Our Memory Care Community

Our Memory Care Manor is designed to provide residents with a safe and structured environment while encouraging participation, connection, and quality of life. CNAs play an important part in that experience.

In addition to providing daily personal care and support, you'll help residents participate in activities and routines appropriate to their abilities and interests. Your patience, consistency, and compassion can make a meaningful difference in how residents experience each day.
