Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-time - Night Shift

Welcome to Yoakum Community Hospital! We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team on the night shift. As a CNA at Yoakum Community Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our patients during the night hours.

Shift: 7 pm - 7 am

In this role, you will:

• Support and adhere to our Nursing Service and administrative policies and procedures
• Provide patient care according to established policies and procedures
• Advocate for individual patients and ensure they receive the highest level of care
• Show respect, dignity, and maintain confidentiality when interacting with patients and their families
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and fellow team members
• Efficiently utilize resources, equipment, and supplies
• Be open to temporary reassignments to different areas or work functions if necessary
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, rules, and regulations
• Remain composed under stress and effectively cope with challenging situations
• Accept delegated tasks within your scope of practice
• Respond promptly to patient needs using a calm and engaging approach
• Accurately document patient information in the appropriate records
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to Yoakum Community Hospital's policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas
• Preferred previous experience in a similar role
• Genuine interest in the well-being of patients
• Current CPR certification
