Certified Nursing Assistant CNA needed for Long term care

We are currently seeking an experienced CNA for a long-term care assignment with an immediate start opportunity. This position is ideal for candidates who are compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working with a diverse patient population.

🕒 Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)
• 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required, based on facility needs

🏥 Unit Details

• 40-bed long-term care unit
• Patient population includes:
• Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
• Orthopedic and post-rehab patients
• Dementia and memory care residents

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support, especially for memory care residents
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
• Accurately document care provided using the facility’s EMR system

Must be willing to float to all units within the same building

Minimum 1+ year of experience required

BLS certification required

Active New York license required
