BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Certified Nursing assistant CNA - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. We currently have part-time/per-diem shifts available in the following zip codes:
- 19124: Sun 8AM-4PM
- 19124: M-F 9a-3p (in need of a CNA, Teacher/Psychology degree)
- 19124: Wed, Sat, Sun - Overnights
- Will be working along side with a special education tutor
A Certified Nurse Aide must:
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Active CNA Cert and Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

Job Responsibilities for CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
