Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to serve as a vital member of the Emergency Department float team. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential patient care across the ED, supporting nursing staff and ensuring a high standard of care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment.

Work Schedule:
Full-time position
Day, Evening, and Night Shifts available
6 shifts (12 hours) in a two-week period
Every Other Weekend Required

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: Active New York State CNA Certification and CPR certification (required).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience. Must have Level 1 trauma experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in vital signs, patient hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
Soft Skills: Must be adaptable, compassionate, and able to thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, assist with ADLs, and obtain and record vital signs.
Assist with procedures, transport patients, and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.)
