Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

About this role:
The Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant is a para-professional member of the home health care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs, to promote the patient's comfort, and a safe environment. The Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for observing patients and reporting/documenting these observations and the services provided.
Requirements
Is at least eighteen years of age and has a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Is currently a State Registered Nurse Aide through the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
One year experience in home health or nursing home setting, preferred.
Proof of completion of recognized CNA training program.
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification and First Aid Training.
Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 in bodily injury coverage.
Has ability to read and follow written instructions and document given care.
Satisfactory references from previous employers.
Is self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
Has empathy for the needs of the ill, frail, and impaired. Understands the needs of a Home Care patient who is injured or managing a chronic condition.
Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
