Global Pacific Support is partnering with our client, a respected Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF), to recruit an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with wound care expertise. This position is ideal for a professional who is skilled in supporting residents with daily living needs while also providing specialized care in wound management under nursing supervision.

Position Summary

The CNA will provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a community-based residential setting. In addition to assisting with activities of daily living, the CNA will play a key role in wound care management, including monitoring, dressing changes, and accurate documentation in accordance with care plans and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
  • Deliver support with nutrition, hydration, and meal assistance.
  • Monitor and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions, especially skin integrity and wound healing progress, to supervising staff.
  • Perform wound care responsibilities such as observation, dressing changes, infection prevention, and documentation under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely resident care records.
  • Assist with medication reminders and documentation per CBRF and state regulations.
  • Support residents’ participation in recreational and social activities.
  • Ensure a safe, sanitary, and supportive environment at all times.
  • Protect resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) state certification.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with wound care (dressing changes, monitoring, documentation) in a healthcare setting.
  • Completion of state-required CBRF training modules (medication administration, fire safety, first aid/CPR, etc.) or willingness to complete within required timeframe.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a CBRF, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
  • Successful completion of background check and health screening.
