Sunset Senior Living has Full-Time & Part-Time Night Shift CNA Openings: 

New Starting Pay: $17.25 + Shift Diff

6:00pm-6:30am

FT36 hours or PT24 hours

Purpose of your position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Sunset Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing direct care and assistance to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. CNAs play a crucial role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall care planning and documentation process, ensuring that each resident’s individualized needs are met with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care in accordance with care plans, policies, and procedures.
• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor resident health and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
• Ensure residents’ rooms are clean, orderly, and safe.
• Assist with dining services and ensure residents receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Engage residents in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care activities.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.
• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to care.
• Available to work every other weekend & holidays as needed.
