Compensation: Starting at $50.00+ per hour (Based on experience)

East Bay Post Acute is looking for a dedicated and energetic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our premier in-house therapy team in Castro Valley. We offer a high-energy, supportive environment where resident outcomes come first.

Your Clinical Impact

Working under the guidance of our Occupational Therapists, you will help our residents reclaim their independence:

  • Therapeutic Excellence: Implement treatment plans as directed by the OT and physician, focusing on functional ADL recovery.

  • Clinical Accuracy: Maintain detailed daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with OT Board and payer requirements.

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and the interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress and discharge goals.

  • Education & Support: Train Restorative Aides, instruct nursing staff, and provide vital caregiver training to families.

  • Resident Advocacy: Build positive, professional relationships with residents and families, acting as a key partner in their recovery journey.
