Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis in the Tiffin, OH area. This dynamic position involves providing therapy services both in our outpatient clinic and in patients' homes through our Home Health program.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to plan and implement individualized treatment programs for patients.
Conduct therapy sessions according to established protocols and treatment plans.
Assist patients in developing or regaining daily living skills, fine motor skills, and functional independence.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy techniques and home exercises.
Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Valid Ohio state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
CPR certification (current).
Prior experience in outpatient and/or home health settings preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
