What You'll Do:

• Assist in implementing therapeutic treatment plans for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist at LOS multiple locations 
• Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates with the therapy team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area, adhering to clinic protocols.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and licensure in Louisiana
• Experience or strong interest in learning hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with team members
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for learning and growing in a specialized area of therapy
