Independence Rehab is actively seeking a compassionate, motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Bellingham at Orchard Park in Bellingham, WA.

We partner closely with skilled nursing facilities to provide patient-centered therapy services focused on functional outcomes, quality of life, and safe transitions to the next level of care.

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Experience Includes:

• Treating a medically complex geriatric population


• Functional mobility and transfer training


• Adaptive ADL retraining


• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams

If there are areas where you would like additional support or training, we are happy to help provide mentorship and competency development.

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State COTA license


• SNF experience preferred, but not required


• Compassion for the geriatric population


• Strong communication and teamwork skills

While we prefer candidates with at least one year of SNF experience, we are always excited to connect with caring, passionate therapists who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
