Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Process and prepare prescription orders accurately with appropriate medications for pharmacist verification
• Prepare and dispense medications under supervision of pharmacists.
• Maintain inventories of drugs and supplies and maintaining stock control.
• Operate various types of pharmacy automation.
• Fill and stock medications.

Hours of Operation:

• First Shift: 06:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday; weekends and holidays as directed
• Second Shift: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Monday-Friday; weekends and holidays as directed

Pay:

• 1st shift $21.50 per hour plus benefits
• 2nd shift $22.25 ($21.50 + $.75 shift differential) per hour plus benefits

• Candidates must be Certified by the National Pharmacy Technician Board
• Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States
• Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate or have GED
• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Understand how to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Be able to lift 50 pounds, twist, and stoop; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time (8-9 hours) performing repetitive motion
• Be able to meet production/accuracy standards required by the facility
• Be able to understand and meet all safety standards
• Be able to meet all regular hours and overtime hours that are required by the facility
• Must be able to pass a federal background check
• NO felony convictions or record of domestic violence, theft, or drug related charges
• Must be able to pass drug screening, including THC (marijuana)
