Position Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician will primarily do non-sterile compounding and/or data entry and perform all tasks and duties assigned.

For the first 90 days, the technician will be required to work 2 Saturday's per month 9AM to 1PM.

Job Duties:

Assists in maintaining logs, documents and any required paperwork
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares RXs and compounds of quality, compliant with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions "Life-File"
Weighing, mixing and packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

Compensation: Hourly; $17.50-$19 per hour

Required Education & Experience:

Experience in non-sterile compounding is preferred

2 years experience
Active State Pharmacy Technician license

Compounding
PTCB Certification
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
