We are seeking an experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to provide specialized clinical care focused on improving patient mobility and independence in Greenville, SC. This role centers on evaluating patients with mobility challenges, developing customized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans, and delivering precise device fittings that enhance daily function and comfort.
Working in a clinical environment in Greenville, the CPO will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive rehabilitation plans. The role requires strong technical expertise in prosthetic and orthotic design as well as a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess mobility limitations and functional needs in Greenville, SC
Design and implement individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans
Fabricate, adjust, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices to improve comfort and performance
Work collaboratively with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and caregivers on device usage, safety, maintenance, and long-term care
Monitor patient progress and adjust devices to maximize mobility and comfort
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient records, and treatment notes
Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethical practices, and regulatory guidelines
Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist in South Carolina or eligibility for state licensure
Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics) or BOC (Board of Certification/Orthotics & Prosthetics)
Clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics practice preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients and families in Greenville, SC
Ability to conduct accurate clinical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
