We are seeking an experienced Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to deliver patient-focused prosthetic and orthotic care in Anderson, South Carolina. This clinical role centers on evaluating patient mobility needs, designing customized assistive devices, and ensuring precise fittings that help individuals regain independence and improve daily function.
Working in a collaborative healthcare environment in Anderson, the CPO will partner with physicians, therapists, and other clinical professionals to develop individualized treatment plans. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and mobility needs in Anderson, SC
Develop customized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans aligned with patient recovery goals
Design, fabricate, and modify custom prosthetic and orthotic devices to improve comfort and performance
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical teams to coordinate effective care plans
Educate patients and caregivers on device use, maintenance, and safety procedures
Monitor treatment progress and adjust devices as mobility needs evolve
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes
Provide compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care during every stage of treatment
Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics) or BOC (Board of Certification/Orthotics & Prosthetics)
Clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred
Strong patient communication skills and clinical decision-making ability
Ability to evaluate biomechanical needs and implement appropriate device solutions
