About the Role:

As a CPA at First Response Restoration, you'll play a crucial role in managing our financial health while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional restoration services. Join a dynamic team in Hurricane, WV, where your expertise will help us thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Maintain compliance with licensing and financial reporting requirements.

Conduct regular audits and ensure internal controls are in place for all company wide systems.

Assist with project estimating to ensure company profitability standards are met.

Develop and manage job costing and employee incentive initiatives tied to performance and profitability metrics.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and flowcharts to streamline financial and operational processes.

Setup and maintain the Service Titan platform for optimal use in scheduling, dispatching, and job tracking.

Setup and maintain relationships with lending partners so that financing options can be offered to customers.

Oversee asset inventory tracking so that the companies valuable equipment is not lost.

Assist with the hiring and recruitment of employees and subcontractors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting or similar with experience in construction and/or home repair.

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
