Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Chicago, IL, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS). $20.00 per hour. THIS IS NOT A CNA POSITION!

*CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) Credentials Required.

You must have taken the State Sanctioned CRSS course, and have Passed the State Exam.

*The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) is a credential for those who provide mental health or co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse recovery support to others. A person with the CRSS credential uses unique insights gained through personal recovery experience.

Responsibilities of the Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS):

• Provide peer-oriented individual and group counseling
• May assist with recreational and leisure activities
• Responsible for fostering a safe, motivating and supportive environment
• Encourage and model the philosophy of recovery and empowerment through CRSS principals

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) credential Required
