Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:30am–2:30pm

The Opportunity
As a key member of our procedural team, you will assist physicians during minimally invasive spine and pain management procedures in a safe and efficient operating environment. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and strong collaboration to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

What You’ll Do
Surgical Assistance & Procedural Support

• Assist surgeons during operations by controlling bleeding, suturing incisions, and ensuring the surgical field remains sterile
• Operate C-Arm and fluoroscope under guidance/in conjunction with the Surgeon
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes

Operating Room Preparation & Management

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to surgical procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical assistant or surgical technology program
• National certification (CSA, CSFA, or equivalent credential)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in an OR setting required for first-assistant roles
• Required Skills & Abilities
• Surgical assisting techniques, ability to close own
• Instrument and equipment knowledge
• Aseptic and sterile technique
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
