Position Title: Certified Surgical Tech

Location: Greenvale, NY

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8s, Day Shifts (40 hours/week) No nights, weekends, major holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering a consistent daytime schedule with no night, weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in orthopedic and general surgical procedures, thrive in a collaborative environment, and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

As a key member of our surgical team, you will support surgeons during operative procedures, ensure the operating room is properly prepared and maintained, and uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program (Technical Diploma)
• Certification: Certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• CPR: Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience
• Minimum 1 year in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
