The ROAR with the Y After School Program (ASP) is a collaboration between the YMCA, Hixson Middle School (HMS), and Northside Neighborhood House (NNH). ROAR with the Y is designed to provide HMS students with academic support and social-emotional growth. We work closely with HMS Leadership and NNH to provide support that reflects the unique needs of HMS students. Through ROAR with the Y, students have a safe and engaging space to strengthen their academics skills, build meaningful relationships, explore new interests, and access resources that promote overall well-being.
