Certified Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

Are you a proactive, compassionate veterinary technician with a passion for internal medicine? EPVMC is seeking a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) to join our Internal Medicine team.

 Your Role & Responsibilities

As an Internal Medicine Vet Tech at EPVMC, you'll:

• Assist with diagnostic procedures: blood draws, IV catheter placement, sample collection, and submission for labs
  
  


• Set up and monitor advanced diagnostics: CRI setups, CT imaging, scopes (endoscopy, bronchial, cysto), sedation, anesthesia, and recovery
  


• Provide ongoing patient care: monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage fluid therapy, and support patient care where needed 
  


• Collaborate with specialists and team members to implement treatment plans for complex/acute cases
  


• Deliver client education and support, explaining diagnostics, treatments, and home care confidently and compassionately.

 Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified (CVT/LVT/RVT) and in good standing


• 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in internal medicine or specialty settings, preferred but not required
  


• Proficiency with IV catheter placement and venipuncture


• Competent in anesthesia from induction, maintenance, and recovery


• Excellent communication skills, especially around complex cases
