Certified Welding Inspector (Structural)

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector based out our Greenville, SC location.  We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

 Responsibilities:

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements


• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.


• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections


• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly


• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others


• Input results and observations into daily reports

 Requirements:

• Current AWS CWI with Structural or Bridge Experience 


• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting & ICC Structural Welding Certifications highly preferred
