Central Baptist Village is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual care, emotional support, and pastoral services to our residents, staff, and families. We are committed to serving older adults through all stages of aging. Our culture is centered on dignity, purpose, and community, and we offer a continuum of care in a vibrant, engaging environment. Our Chaplain plays a key role in tending to our community’s emotional and spiritual well-being and offering residents support through their life journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer regular spiritual      services, including worship, prayer groups, and devotionals.
• Provide one-on-one spiritual      counseling and emotional support to residents, staff, and families.
• Support residents of all      faiths and spiritual backgrounds with empathy, inclusivity, and respect.
• Collaborate with the      interdisciplinary care team to address residents' holistic well-being.
• Facilitate grief support,      memorial services, and crisis response when needed.
• Participate in community      events, holiday celebrations, and activity programming.
• Partner with the Marketing      team on church outreach and spiritual education events.

• Chaplaincy certification by an accredited institution or professional chaplaincy organization (Association of Professional Chaplains) and/or coursework in Clinical Pastoral Education required.
• Experience working with seniors, preferably in long-term care or healthcare settings, preferred.
• Affiliation with the North American Baptist Conference is a plus, but not required.
• Recognition that the Chaplain is on call to provide support to residents, staff, and families as the need arises.
• Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, theological knowledge, and the ability to provide compassionate support in diverse settings.
• Ability to serve diverse faith traditions respectfully.

Salary: $65,000+, commensurate with experience
