Job Description - Chapter Services Manager


JOB TITLE: Chapter Services Manager


FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt


DATE: June 2025


REPORTS TO: Director of Chapter Services

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


Reporting to the Director of Chapter Services, this position works directly with our partner school districts (Chapters) and school district staff (Liaisons) to fulfill the Care to Learn mission.


Coordinating with multiple Care to Learn Chapters, this individual builds and maintains relationships with our Liaisons, and helps Chapters meet their student health, hunger, and hygiene needs’, ensuring they are poised for long-term success.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS



  • Serve as the main point of contact between the Care to Learn Central Office and Chapter Liaisons.

  • Build strong relationships by providing excellent customer service to Liaisons.

  • Collaborate with the Care to Learn Chapter Services team to identify gaps and growth opportunities.

  • Lead virtual and in-person meetings with Liaisons.

  • Support fundraising and communication efforts for Chapter activities.

  • Support Chapters’ ongoing programs to meet their students’ needs.

  • Assist with any challenges Chapter Liaisons might have.

  • Coordinate, support, and train new Chapter Liaisons on their roles and responsibilities.

  • Provide written reports as needed.

  • Assist in the coordination and planning of the Care to Learn Liaison Conference.

  • Plan and coordinate regional Chapter meetings with Liaisons.

  • Gather Chapter Liaison input and feedback for optimal Chapter performance.

  • Attend Chapter special events as needed.

  • Have a strong understanding of public school education and learn how to navigate community resources.

  • Represent the Care to Learn brand.

  • Knowledge of Google Drive, including Docs, Forms, Sheets, and Slides.

  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Missouri as needed.

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.



EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



  • A minimum of two years of experience in a professional office environment is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in a public school setting and/or non-profit experience is preferred.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Seeing: Must be able to see to read documents/reports and use computer. 75-100%


Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with staff, donors, vendors, and general public. 75-100%



Sitting: Must be able to sit for long periods of time. 50-74%


 


Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about the work area. 25-49%


 


Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up items off the floor. 0-24%


 


Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift 20 pounds with or without reasonable assistance. 0-24%


 


Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type, handle documents, and use equipment and electronic


devices. 75-100%



WORKING CONDITIONS


Normal working conditions in an office or school environment absent extreme factors. Some travel may be required up to 30% percent of the time to support operations and development of the Chapters.
