Ensures that all billing charges are captured in an appropriate manner.

Responsibilities

Identifies, analyzes, and reconciles billing errors or omissions.
Reviews patient account records and third-party payer issues.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Perioperative Services.
Performs duties as assigned.
Works under general supervision.
Typically reports to the manager.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

Required: 2 to 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
