The Charge Description Master (CDM) Analyst is responsible for the accuracy, maintenance, and compliance of the CDM within a MEDITECH environment. This role ensures compliant revenue capture and pricing by ensuring charges are built, routed, and maintained in alignment with CMS, Federal, and State regulatory requirements and within established HSA governance standards. The analyst serves as a CDM subject matter expert, collaborating with clinical, financial, compliance, contracting, and IT stakeholders to support Revenue Integrity and regulatory compliance.

CDM Build & Maintenance
· Build, maintain, & audit CDM records within Meditech, including procedures, supplies, implants, pharmaceuticals, & ancillary services.
· Research & maintain charge attributes such as revenue codes, CPT/HCPCS, modifiers, units, charge methods, and effective dates in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
· Perform departmental CDM reviews to ensure all billable services are identified, annually at minimum.
Serve as Meditech CDM subject matter expert for clinical departments & operational leaders.
Collaborate with departments to support new charge build, charge corrections, & workflow optimization.
Collaborates with Revenue Integrity, Finance, Supply Chain, and clinical departments to ensure CDM accuracy & charge capture integrity.
Support CMS Price Transparency, No Surprises Act requirements, & other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of hospital Chargemaster experience, preferably in a MEDITECH environment.
Migration or system implementation experience preferred.
Proficient understanding of complex, multi-market hospital structure with multiple service lines.
Ability to interpret Medicare and NCCI guidelines, National and Local Coverage Determinations to support CDM integrity.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to multitask and maintain a work pace appropriate to workload.
Effective written communication skills.
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
