Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching and development for chart production and operation support group
- Manage inventory and staffing needs for validation and log entry personnel including remote staff and global partners
- Provide oversight of chart image capture application, OnBase, and HM charge capture application as it relates to chart workflow, acquisition, and log processes
- Payroll functions for direct reports; to include review of hours, adjustments in Workday, vacation approval and sign offs for each completed pay period
- Supervise, coordinate, schedule and conduct business and technical training for new hires
- Create standardized training programs including outline, text, handouts and P&P Manuals
- Daily review of HM inventory; including stray, deficiency and timely filing reports
- Analysis of personnel after 90 days of hire or job change and annually thereafter
- Monitor and maintain acceptable daily chart inventory levels in line with departmental KPI’s
- Collaboration with IT, Coding, HiOps Management & Operation Teams for chart acquisition
- Assists with strategy sessions for RCS PreBilling system related outages
- Oversight for assuring policy compliance for remote users with regards to management directives, with regards to corporate compliance for HIPPA requirement(s), and mandate(s)
- Provide timely performance information to department management
- Design and administer training and development surveys to determine training program effectiveness
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate professionally
- Must be well organized and demonstrate effective time management skills
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with minimal assistance
- Strong PC skills and advanced creative skills are critical. Must have advanced systems knowledge of charting software
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within training field
- Ability to work, troubleshoot, and make well informed decisions
- Ability to lead and coach others
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written
- Knowledge and comprehension of HIPPA guidelines
EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years previous supervisory experience in a team production environment, previous medical record experience preferred but not required.
FIELD OF STUDY:
- Business or healthcare related field
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using Microsoft Office™, including Microsoft Excel™, Microsoft Word™ and Microsoft Outlook™
- Experience using Kofax Capture™
- Experience using OnBase™
- Knowledge of mySCP Care billing system (preferred but not required)
Pay Range:
$21.23 - $31.84
This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
