Job Description - Cheese Production Team 2nd Shift

Join our Production Team!

Production team members rotate in various jobs to fill boxes with hot cheese while following all safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

Team members work Monday through Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until about 2:30 A.M. and 12-15 Fridays per year depending on business need.

Starting pay rate for Production 2nd shift is $20.50/hour and you're eligible for a $.50/hour increase after 90 days of employment.

New hires are also eligible for a $500 bonus after (3) months of employment and a second $500 bonus after (6) months of employment!

We have openings for employees to learn skills and work in premium positions.

If you are bi-lingual in Spanish and English, we pay a premium rate when you assist as an interpreter!

Duties/Responsibilities:

Label, stack, and line corrugated boxes.

Using a foot pedal, pour cheese into boxes and ensure box weights are accurate.

Label bags or paperboard liners and lift loaves of cheese into cases.

Disassemble and clean equipment and utensils used during the work shift.

Any related tasks or duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from the supervisor.

Must have basic math skills and English communication skills.

Ability to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Ability to work safety and follow safety requirements.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of six (6) months of related work experience or training is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves: continuous standing and lifting of 10lbs, occasional lifting of 25lbs, carrying of objects up to 50lbs., continuous standing for long periods and duration of the shift, and occasional walking.

Full-time employees are eligible for:

Eight (8) paid holidays and two (2) floating holidays per year; employees are eligible for holiday pay on the first day of employment

No weekend shifts

Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance coverage beginning on the 1st day of the month after 60 days of employment

PTO after 60 days
