Chef de Partie

Our client, a well-established hospitality and catering group in Malta, is seeking skilled and passionate Chefs de Partie to join its culinary team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure proper mise en place and organisation of the workstation.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and stock rotation.
• Follow HACCP and food safety regulations at all times.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Passion for cooking and delivering high-quality dishes.
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
