Cheif Publishing Officer

Job Description:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and visionary Chief Publishing Officer to lead and manage our magazine sales, partnerships and business development. As a Chief Publishing Officer, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, financial performance, and operational management of the magazine. This role requires a strong business acumen, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the publishing industry.
Investment and/or Ownership Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the magazine’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the magazine’s reach and influence.
Sales and Marketing:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive advertising revenue and subscription growth.
Oversee the marketing and promotional activities to enhance the magazine’s visibility and readership.
Business Development:
Build and maintain relationships with advertisers, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of editors, writers, designers, and sales professionals.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
Digital Strategy:
Oversee the magazine’s digital presence, including website, social media, and digital subscriptions.
Stay abreast of digital trends and innovations to enhance the magazine’s online offerings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior leadership role
Strong understanding of print and digital media operations.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing landscape.
Entrepreneurial mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with start-ups
Established network within the publishing and advertising industries.
Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics.
Compensation:
