Job Description - Chemical Engineer Process Improvement & Manufacturing

Structural Engineer – Buildings, Renovations & Additions | Greenfield, IN
Location: Greenfield, Indiana (On-Site)
Salary: $90,000 – $115,000/year
Industry: Construction / Structural Engineering

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee structural components for new buildings, additions, and renovations. This role requires collaboration with architects and construction teams to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for safety, stability, and durability.
  • Collaborate with architects to integrate structural requirements with building designs.
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings and construction documents using CAD software.
  • Ensure compliance with national and local building codes and safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction to confirm adherence to plans.
  • Recommend materials, construction methods, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or structural engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD and structural analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of US building codes, safety standards, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
