Chemical Line Operator

Job Description:

JOB DUTIES:     

• Rotate through both Room 1 and Room 2 as required performing all Anodize functions
• Ability to maximize productivity of line and maximize workflow thru dept
• Must perform chemical analysis of individual tanks
• Must attend to routine maintenance of tanks and Autoline in general
• Constant interaction with waste treatment operators
• Keep records of all chemical adds and analysis
• Other tasks to be assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to read and comprehend written work instructions
• Good math skills
• Must be able to read, write, and perform calculations (math) as needed.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Good hand/eye coordination as well as good manual dexterity.
• Must have knowledge of the anodizing process.
• Excellent attendance a must
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Must be flexible with regard to work schedule and overtime as requested
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to cross train in other areas as needed
