Chemical Mix Operator

Pay Rate: $20.55

Responsibilities:

• Mix and handle chemicals according to formulation standards, including unloading from rail cars and tankers
• Operate and maintain pour table equipment, including monitoring pressure gauges, adjusting parameters, and changing parts as needed
• Ensure product quality by monitoring process parameters and making necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate production records, including chemical consumption, equipment run times, and inventory levels
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of work area and equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in chemical handling and equipment operation
• Assist with product changes and recalibration as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods during 10-12 hour shifts
• Capable of walking long distances within the manufacturing facility
• Able to climb ladders and navigate staircases regularly
• Proficient in using hands and arms to operate equipment and controls
• Capable of lifting and manipulating heavy objects, including 100 lb chemical hoses and 50 lb pails of liquids
