We are seeking a Chemical Product Regulations Technician for a key chemical manufacturing client of ours in Southfield, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and providing data cleanup, as well as reviewing processes and procedures in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will also be involved in data entry into logistics, quality, and regulatory systems, requiring a high level of concentration and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to data security and ethical standards. A strong background in chemistry is ideal for this role.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness
- Perform data cleanup and entry into logistics, quality, and regulatory systems
- Review and update processes, procedures, and work instructions as needed
- Maintain a high level of data security and ethical standards
Work in a dynamic and complex environment, demonstrating flexibility and multitasking abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or technical field; major in Chemistry preferred
- Intermediate computer skills, including alpha/numeric data entry, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with SAP systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Global Harmonization Systems (GHS) and GHS classifications is advantageous
- Experience with SDS preparation and authoring, OSHA, SARA, MSPA, Whimas, California Prep 65, and trade secrets is preferred
