Chemist - Professional Development Opportunities

Job Description:

A skilled chemistry/bioprocess candidates focusing on the purification of hemoglobin and other critical tasks in the production process. Will perform Western blots, operating ion-exchange chromatography and HPLC systems for various analysis, maintaining reagents and buffers, and conducting in-process checks to ensure product integrity. Prepare, label, and maintain stocks of essential reagents and buffers required for an processes, ensuring their availability and quality. Conduct routine In-process checks on various equipment to verify calibration, cleanliness. and functionality, maintaining product integrity throughout the production cycle.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
• Must have hands on experience in chemistry, biomaterials, or biochemistry research.
• Skills includes, but not limited to: Western Blot, ion exchange Chromatography, HPLC.
• Preferably has good communication and interpersonal skills, can work efficiently and diligently, and be productive under supervision.
• Must have critical thinking and ability to solve problems, and be a team worker.
• Needs to have the ability to prepare experimental reports.
• 1 year of lab experience is required
• Safety sensitive position
