Job Description - Chick-fil-A Covington Hwy 21 - Kitchen Team Member

Must be available on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.

Works to personally implement the Winning Hearts Every Day Restaurant Customer Care Strategy, which includes:

Ensuring Operational Excellence in the following areas by

  • Following Chick-fil-A standards, recipes, and systems
  • Adhering to food safety standards and organizational safety standards for a specific area and position 
  • Seeking excellence in food quality 
  • Working toward a standard of excellence in order accuracy and a sense of urgency for a specific area and position 
  • Holding oneself accountable for thinking Customer First
  • Going above and beyond to keep the Restaurant clean, safe, and refreshing both inside and outside and understands how that affects the customer
  • Seeking excellence in customer experience

Demonstrating and teaching 2nd Mile Service by:

  • Seeks to understand how their role in the Heart of House affects 2nd Mile Service in the Front of House
  • Making it Personal by showing each other kindness, optimism, and teamwork
  • Being Proactive by actively taking care of and being a good steward of equipment, resources, and people in the Heart of House and by intentionally setting the next shift up for success
  • Being Generous by going above and beyond to make sure Customers enjoy their food

Upholding a standard of Attentive & Friendly Team Members by:

  • Paying attention to details and considering Customer impacts and impressions
  • Delivering Core 4 in each customer interaction
  • Recovering quickly when a customer has had an unsatisfactory experience

Specifically, team members should

  • Follow handbook policies

  • Reliably attend shift on time and is prepared to serve
  • Take care of Cash, Equipment, Products and Premise
  • Be friendly, considerate and genuine toward guests and teammates 
  • Put in the effort to get to know your teammates 
  • Creates genuine interactions by utilizing CORE 4, HEARD Model, and Language of Hospitality
  • Be aware of organization's goals and how you contribute to those 
  • Proactively communicate with other team members in daily operations 
  • Utilize and actively checks communication channels 
  • Proactively communicate issues to leadership team as they arise
  • Look for ways to continuously grow in their ability to be a team player, support the Restaurant brand and values, and work to increase their contribution to the Restaurant
  • Learn from mistakes and encourage others to as well
  • Ask for feedback and guidance from Leaders to build skills
  • Pursue personal excellence
  • Be open minded to changes made by the leadership team
  • Be flexible with roles and tasks

Starting pay is $11.50+/hour for Part-time and $14.50+/hour for Full-time.

Benefits for Full-Time Team Members include;

  • One free employee meal each shift 
  • Pay $300 towards Monthly Health Insurance Premium (after six months)
  • Provide access to 401K (after one year)
  • Paid time off (PTO) of 40 hours after 1 year
