Our BOH Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily kitchen operations, maintaining food safety standards, and holding team members accountable to Operational Excellence. A BOH Leader’s two main areas of focus are ensuring the kitchen operates effectively and efficiently while coaching and developing team members. BOH Leaders lead by example and set the standard that others will follow.

Leader Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day kitchen activities in a high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Ensure food safety, food quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently executed
- Assist in training and onboarding new Back of House Team Members
- Set the tone for each shift and act as a role model for the kitchen team
- Coach and develop Team Members through real-time feedback and accountability
- Monitor kitchen systems to ensure speed, accuracy, and operational excellence
- Lead food production while maintaining Chick-fil-A standards and procedures
- Be a positive, encouraging team player who fosters teamwork and engagement
- Open and/or close the kitchen and lead shifts
- Manage inventory, waste, and product rotation as assigned
- Maintain equipment, organization, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with a desire to serve and develop Team Members
- Strong commitment to food safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold Team Members accountable
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying kitchen temperatures
- Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, kitchen manager, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred
