Chick-fil-A FOOTHILL RANCH - Shift Leader

A CFA Shift Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embodies the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of our mission. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are 1) making sure each Team Member is fully equipped to execute their position on a daily basis, 2) planning for, delegating & ensuring everything is ready to execute outstanding hospitality & great food. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others follow. 

Position Type: 

• Full-time and Part-time 
• Availability: 35-40 hours/week
• Must be able to Open the restaurant 3 days and Close the restaurant 3 days

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

• Ability to hold Staff accountable to behavioral, performance issues & HR policy
• Reliable transportation
• At least 1 year of prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is required.
