Position Summary: As Graham continues to scale through organic growth, acquisitions, and increasing operational complexity, the Chief Commercial & Enablement Officer (CXO) is focused on accelerating enterprise value creation. The CXO leads enterprise commercialization initiatives to maximize value extraction from our technologies and capabilities, oversee M&A strategy and integration governance, drive a multi-year business systems and AI roadmap in partnership with the CIO, identify and capture cross-business synergies, strengthen leadership development and succession planning, and institutionalize enterprise risk, opportunity, and compliance frameworks. As Graham grows in scale and complexity, this role will increase organizational effectiveness, accelerate strategic execution, improve accountability, and ensure that the full value of our investments, acquisitions, and capabilities is realized across the enterprise assets.
Key Results Areas:
1. Commercial Enablement & Enterprise Growth
- Develop and institutionalize Graham's enterprise commercialization framework, enabling each business unit to consistently convert technology, capabilities, and customer relationships into sustainable organic growth.
- Partner with Business Unit leaders to identify adjacent markets, cross-selling opportunities, aftermarket growth, pricing strategies, and other value creation initiatives that accelerate revenue and margin expansion.
- Establish enterprise commercial best practices, metrics, and strategic planning processes that improve win rates, customer value creation, and long-term competitive positioning across the portfolio.
2. Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Partner with the CIO to develop and execute Graham's multi-year digital transformation roadmap, leveraging AI, automation, business systems, and data analytics to improve enterprise productivity and decision-making.
- Champion enterprise adoption of emerging technologies by identifying high-value use cases, removing organizational barriers, and ensuring successful implementation across business units.
- Establish scalable knowledge management and digital collaboration capabilities that capture institutional expertise, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate innovation throughout the organization.
3. Governance & Compliance
- Lead Graham's enterprise operating system by translating corporate strategy into measurable objectives, standardized KPIs, quarterly operating reviews, and disciplined execution across all business units.
- Strengthen enterprise governance through integrated risk management, compliance oversight, policy deployment, and management processes that support sustainable growth while maintaining operational agility.
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through performance management disciplines, business reviews, and enterprise-wide best practice sharing.
4. Strategic M&A Leadership & Integration
- Partner with the CEO to develop acquisition strategies, assess strategic fit, support commercial and operational due diligence, and evaluate opportunities that strengthen Graham's long-term competitive position.
- Provide executive oversight of acquisition integration by establishing governance, assigning dedicated integration leaders, tracking synergy realization, and ensuring consistent execution of Graham's integration playbook.
- Accelerate enterprise value creation by identifying and enabling cross-business synergies, capability sharing, commercial collaboration, and operational best practices across the portfolio.
5. Leadership Development & Organizational Excellence
- Coach and develop senior leaders to strengthen strategic thinking, execution discipline, organizational effectiveness, and enterprise leadership capabilities throughout Graham.
- Design and implement enterprise leadership development, succession planning, and talent acceleration programs that build the next generation of business leaders
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement by connecting leaders across business units, promoting shared learning, and reinforcing Graham's core values and operating principles.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline required.
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Executive education in strategy, leadership, digital transformation, AI, organizational development, and/or M&A is highly desirable.
Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in multiple companies scaling businesses through innovation, systemization, structure building, and linkage from strategy through execution.
- 10+ years leading multiple business functions, business units, or enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience leading significant change, digital transformation, and marketing/sales scale ups.
- Senior commercial or P&L leadership in technical, high-compliance companies.
- Applied experience with value stream mapping, operational excellence, and AI/automation to improve companies.
- Risk management leadership with an emphasis on internal service and avoiding unintended consequences.
- M&A experience across pipeline development, diligence, and post-close integration.
- Builder-coach profile consistent with Graham culture: ownership mentality, technical mindset, and a genuine drive to develop others.
Other:
- Must be willing to work overtime as required.
- Travel up to 15% of working time.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $375,000 - $425,000 and is commensurate with the applicant’s experience. This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base for this position. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
