Chief Compliance Officer - Futures Trading

Exciting Opportunity in St. Petersburg, Florida!

Our client is looking for a skilled Futures Compliance Officer to join their team as the FCM’s Chief Compliance Officer. In this pivotal role, you will oversee compliance for our derivatives trading activities, ensuring regulatory adherence and guiding our business teams to maintain compliance with laws and regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies for compliance with futures trading regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into product development.
- Provide guidance and training on futures compliance matters.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends to adapt our compliance program.
- Act as a subject matter expert on futures compliance matters and handle communications with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in futures or derivatives compliance.
- Deep understanding of NFA, CFTC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in developing effective compliance programs.
- Experience in direct interaction with regulators.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
