In this pivotal role, you will support the legal and regulatory aspects of crucial agreements related to drug sourcing and distribution solutions. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring compliance and managing risks while enhancing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. This position is designed for an experienced healthcare transactional lawyer eager to impact the healthcare landscape positively. You will engage with various stakeholders to facilitate successful contract negotiations and strategy development, ultimately driving success for our partner company.
Accountabilities
- Provide independent legal support for contract drafting, negotiation, and strategy for complex, sensitive agreements.
- Coordinate legal risk tolerances and contracting standards in support of key distribution agreements.
- Serve as a legal advisor to senior leadership and account directors regarding legal risk mitigation and strategic initiatives.
- Engage with internal legal and business stakeholders across various functional groups.
Requirements
- 13+ years of corporate law experience.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biopharma, or Biotechnology sectors is preferred.
- Excellent commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- High comfort providing healthcare regulatory advice.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of thought leadership in healthcare transactions.
