About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to empowering voters and defending democracy. The ideal candidate will embody the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will be responsible for guiding the organization through a period of growth, transformation, and leadership change. As the face of the organization, the CEO will be expected to be a strong advocate for the mission and work of the organization, both internally and externally. This role requires a visionary leader who can set strategic goals, foster collaboration, and ensure the effective implementation of programs that align with the organization's core values.Candidates for the CEO position should have a proven track record of executive leadership, preferably within a nonprofit or advocacy setting. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and mobilize staff, members, and stakeholders. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a complex organization with diverse activities. A deep understanding of the political and social landscape, as well as experience in fundraising and financial management, is also required. A commitment to the principles of democracy and the mission of the organization is paramount.
