Sagetech Avionics Inc (Sagetech) is an aerospace manufacturer known globally in the defense
and unmanned aircraft industries for their robust and extremely small avionics products. Formed
in 2019 in the heart of the outdoor recreation haven of the Columbia River Gorge, the company has
grown from a dozen to over 50 employees. With an industry leading position globally, supplying
FAA and DoD certified products to manufacturers of large UAVs, government defense agencies,
and next-generation transport aircraft (eVTOL) manufacturers, Sagetech is poised to accelerate
their growth dramatically over the next 1-3 years.

An agile, “scrappy” startup mentality has enabled the company’s success to date and will continue
to be a key part of their culture. At the same time, near-term major defense and other contracts
indicate a need for structure and scalability. This creates a unique opportunity for an energetic,
hands-on finance professional to help shape the future of the company as it scales.

The Role

The CEO and board are seeking a hands-on finance leader to assume the new role of Chief
Financial Officer. The CFO will be a thought partner to the CEO, helping ensure IR&D and capital
investments, cost structure and strategic planning result in maximum shareholder value. The
position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all aspects of finance and accounting.
This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and is located at Sagetech Avionics’ headquarters
in Bingen, Washington.
