Position Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic and operational leadership for all financial functions of a $35+ million nonprofit organization, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, general ledger management, internal accounting controls, and compliance policies. Long-range business planning is a core and ongoing responsibility of this role.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the CFO serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) across business systems, financial policies and procedures, and grant contract management and compliance. The CFO also plays an active role in advancing WCAC's strategic plan objectives — particularly its commitment to being a model employer and building the timely, relevant infrastructure needed to support staff and clients.
